Job Responsibilities

Responding to and building leads:

  • Receive and qualify inbound leads from calls, emails, texts, and web form fills
  • Schedule onsite or remote quote meetings for the Sales Team
  • Generate new appointments by outbound contacting older leads

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Sales experience in home services and products
  • Excellent communication skills and self-presentation
  • Comfortable with computers, tablets, and basic software
  • Attention to detail

Onsite Exterior Lighting Consultant (Outside Sales Representative)

Astoria Lighting Co is looking for qualified applicants for this sales position. 

We need reps to sell a product that homeowners love and that is experiencing huge growth nationally. Astoria Lighting Co. is quickly becoming one of the largest residential exterior lighting providers in Texas for both landscape lighting/uplighting, as well as LED permanent holiday lighting.

You can make 150K a year while helping homeowners make their homes and businesses look awesome. Our long-lasting LED lighting system makes it so your customers will never have to bother hanging Christmas lights again! With this system, your customers get nightly accent lighting to make their home standout every night of the year; they get built-in lighting for Halloween, Independence Day, and other holidays; they get built-in lighting for entertaining, parties, and sporting events. Your role is to develop relationships with pre-qualified homeowners. We generate leads, schedule your consultations, and take care of all of the backend work. You simply focus on making accurate estimates and selling the system. We do everything else, before and after you close the sale. Your job is to learn the product, learn our estimating process, and then deliver this highly sought-after product to your customers.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately estimate our exterior residential and commercial lighting product for company-generated leads
  • Provide quotes to customers and manage your customer pipeline vigorously
  • Meet minimum closing rates and quality standards
  • Self-generate leads through existing pipeline

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of successful outside sales experience, landscape lighting sales experience preferred.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to speak with confidence and poise
  • Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have means of transportation to travel throughout Austin and surrounding areas

Salary And Benefits

  • 8% commission on Gross Revenue generated from company-provided leads, and 10% on self-generated leads.
